About Bright Side Electric

Bright Side Electric is a family-owned and operated electrical contractor serving the commercial and industrial industries. Our technicians are skilled in electrical design and installation for new construction, renovations, underground wiring projects, and more.

We’re renowned in the industry as a responsive, hard-working, and on-time crew, both on-site and off. Bright Side Electric founder Scott Nelson takes pride in completing projects on time. A family man and motivated individual, Scott attended Dunwoody College of Technology and graduated from their electrical program in 1994. From there, he worked his way from apprentice to journeyman before earning the distinction of master electrician in October of 2005. That following December, Scott founded Bright Side Electric. He enjoys working on a wide range of projects, tackling challenges head on, and interacting with a variety of people.

Scott is joined by a team of dedicated professionals respected and trusted in our industry. All of our employees engage in regular training for safety and compliance with OSHA regulations. Your project completion and success depend on the contractors you hire, so we take our job seriously. We’re licensed and insured in the state of Minnesota and committed to providing quality service at a reasonable rate.
